Indonesia has initiated and introduced the CCRL program to make this program an effort to counter the challenges of radicalism and violence in thinking.

What we initiated together (the Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy program) can be continued and developed, because it is very helpful to this nation.

The program initiated by the Leimena Institute together with the MAARIF Institute and various parties is part of our efforts to constantly update and refresh our experiences regarding our religion, as well as getting to know the people around us.

We are very proud of the leadership of the Leimena Institute and Indonesia's pioneering work. You can bring CCRL to the global community because the world needs it. You cannot attain enlightenment without education, and the education you have pioneered is relevant and needed.

CCRL is necessary and required because of the increasingly close social relations between adherents of religions and beliefs in various parts of the world, especially in the digital and internet era.

Indonesia promotes the principle of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" (Unity in Diversity) to foster interfaith and intercultural understanding. We must continue to uphold this principle as we face the complexity of global issues.

I commend the Leimena Institute for its extraordinary work over the past few years, training thousands of teachers across Indonesia. You have prepared them to teach future generations the values of solidarity, understanding, and togetherness, over division. Your work has a direct impact that can even save lives.

For me, this Institute (Leimena) is extraordinary. It's not a very large institute, but its work is extraordinary, its work for Indonesia.
